Registration opens for Indian Army recruitment in Nagaland and Manipur

Kohima, March 27 (MExN): The Indian Army has announced the opening of registrations for Agniveer selection in various categories for the 2025-26 recruitment year under the Agnipath Scheme.

Online registration is open for residents of all districts in Nagaland and Manipur from March 12 and will continue until April 10, informed a press release from the PRO & Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence.

As per the release, the recruitment of Agniveers will be conducted in two phases.

Phase-I consists of an Online Computer-Based Written Examination (Common Entrance Examination - CEE) at selected centres in both states.

Shortlisted candidates, based on the CEE merit list, will then undergo a recruitment rally in Phase-II.

The Army Recruiting Office, Rangapahar, will provide detailed requirements and advisories for the rally, the release stated.

Registration and other details

Candidates must visit www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to check their eligibility and create a personal profile.

After submitting the application, candidates will be redirected to the SBI portal via a link on the website to pay Rs 250 plus applicable bank charges. Payment can be made through debit/credit cards, online banking, or UPI.

Candidates must have an active email and mobile number for further communication from the Indian Army, the release stressed. 

Applicants can choose from five exam centres and must enter their Aadhaar number in the online application. They are also advised to link their Aadhaar to their mobile number, it said. 

A category-wise link for online CEE practice is available on the "Join Indian Army" website, and candidates are advised to practice at least once before the actual exam, it added. 

Animated videos on “How to Register” and “How to Appear for Online CEE”, along with details on educational qualifications, physical/medical standards, and job specifications, are available at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

As per the release, candidates can apply for up to two categories during online registration. 

However, they will need to appear for two separate CEEs, as different categories have varying question paper standards and separate merit lists.
