Kohima, April 8 (MExN): All the concerned business establishments/institutions within Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) jurisdiction have been directed to apply/renew their trade licence for the year 2025-2026 on or before April 30.
Intensive trade licence inspection will be conducted by KMC from May 1, 2025 onwards and defaulters will be imposed Rs 2000 as penalty along with other nominal late fines as applicable.
Further, it is also informed all the concerned to produce duly registered declarations for change of ownership in trade licence.
This stated in a circular issued by KMC Chief Executive Officer T Lanusenla Longkumer.
