New vocalist unveiled; third studio album set for early 2027
Dimapur, June 17 (MExN): Contemporary rock band About Us will release their much-anticipated new single, “You and I,” on June 21, marking their first musical offering from the upcoming third studio album. The accompanying music video will also introduce the band’s new vocalist, Nzanthung Kithan, to audiences worldwide.
The track delves into themes of deception, broken trust, and emotional conflict—emotions that resonate across relationships, friendships and broader human connections. Staying true to the band’s signature sonic palette, the song offers a compelling commentary on the complexities of modern life.
The single is part of a larger creative cycle, with the band planning to roll out two to three more music videos in the lead-up to the full album release.
Currently in production, the third studio album is scheduled for launch in February or March 2027. Recording sessions are in full swing, with the band working extensively in the studio to craft what they describe as their most ambitious project to date.
In a statement, band manager Edward Ngullie expressed gratitude to fans and supporters globally. He also noted a recent milestone, the music video for their previous single “Right Now” crossing one million views, calling it a testament to the unwavering support of listeners across the world.
