Kohima, November 3 (MExN): The Southern Angami Youth Organization (SAYO), along with the unit presidents and secretaries from Southern Angami areas, today inspected the road restoration work in the landslide area at Phesama. The road is expected to be completed by November 20.

“Till now, we can see that at least 80% of the work has been done,” said SAYO President Zasitsolie Beio while speaking to media persons after the inspection. The organisation requested a temporary passage through the road to facilitate students appearing for examinations soon and for the convenience of the public. Ketouneio Zashumo of the Phesama Youth Organization stated that the public was facing a lot of problems, especially along the alternative route.

The alternative route connecting Phesama and Kisama/Kigwema via Rhododendron Resort and Kisama Gate has deteriorated further. In this connection, the organisation requested that the road be opened as early as possible.
