Every individual likes to think that they are the best and every organization strives to be the best. The contributions we make for the cause of our loved ones will be of no value if we have not love in us. The stance of our nation had been wounded because of our rebellion against God and men. Since we spilled blood in our own house, it is our responsibility to remove the stains from the floor. When our clothes are stained we may remove the old one and put a new one on, but when our body is defiled, the guilt always remains. I am not trying to be critical but am only revealing our own weaknesses through the media that we may stop hurting and killing and hurting each other through the media.
We do more harm than good through our acts of betrayal, deception and hatred. If we write to create divisions, the stance of our nation will only worsen and the enemies of our nation will strengthen their grasp on us. In the end the ones who were responsible for the conflicts will be paid back with harm for the harm they did. The obvious reason behind this very attitude of ours is that, we are always quick to criticize because of our relation with the world. The “war of words “can hinder the cause of peace and reconciliation. The scripture states that the peace makers will reap a harvest of righteousness. And the truth regarding this is that if we sow to please our sinful nature, we shall reap a harvest of destruction. Even if siblings in a family keep on fighting among themselves, they still remain a family. In the same way, even if we have grudges against each other, we are still part of each other. The condition of our relationship is such that even if we pray together today, the evils in us makes us hate each other the next day. The wicked writers will only write about wicked things. And they may end up in hell if they continue to be evil. An evil men will only see the evil in others, and destroy not only themselves but their enemies too.
If we think not before we act, the consequences of our folly may lead us to the pit of disaster. In addition to this tragedy, our oppressors will only continue to grin on us as long as we continue fighting. The truth is rather than setting our house in order, we concentrate more in destroying the houses of others. As far as the internal issues are concerned, the sensible ones will do the needful, while the foolish ones will only continue to create chaos and divisions. The question set before us is, will our parents ever proclaim to the world that our children are immoral? The truth is the war of words are not only harming the concerned individuals and groups, but it is also damaging the reputation of our nation as a whole. The war of words should be done away with if we want our nation to progress.

The scripture states “… the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be torn from it (Proverbs 2:22). If any leaders or organization are among the wicked, we may ultimately fall into judgment. For the Word clearly states that “ We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due to him, for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad ( 2nd Corinthians 5:10 ). In view of this every concerned leader, groups and organizations should adhere to the Word of God. The media is also a gift but if we use it to kill and destroy each other, we shall ultimately fall into judgment. Ever since the sounds of gunshots had subsided, a new form of warfare popularly known as the “Paper War’ began to emerge. I pray for sense to prevail and for justice to reign supreme. Leak not our secrets to the world, rather pray for peace in our land that there may be no more bloodshed, no more killings and no more hatred. The world watches us.
