ZUNHEBOTO, AUGUST 19 (MExN): The Sümi Games and Sports Association (SGSA) on Tuesday inducted a new team of office bearers for the 2025–27 tenure at a programme held at Sümi Hoho Ki, Zunheboto.
The programme was chaired by Sümi Hoho vice president and convenor of the search committee, Kikheto Muru. Words of exhortation were delivered by Sümi Hoho president Dr Vihuto Asumi and Sümi Kükami Hoho president Akükau Hetoho Zhimomi, while Agape Chishi, youth pastor of Sümi Baptist Church Zunheboto, offered a brief sharing and prayer of blessings.
The event was attended by leaders and representatives from various Sümi frontal organisations, who conveyed their goodwill and support to the new SGSA team.
The newly inducted office bearers include Iloka K Shohe as president, Aketovi Assumi as vice president, Xusheto Zhimomi as general secretary, and Kazheto Yeptho as finance secretary, among others.
The Sümi Hoho congratulated the new team and expressed hope that the SGSA would promote sportsmanship, unity and excellence among the Sümi community and the Nagas at large.
