State-Level volleyball referee course cum exam in April

Kohima, March 13 (MExN): Nagaland Volleyball Association will be conducting a State-Level Volleyball Referee Course cum exam to be hosted by Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA). This event aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of volleyball referees and promote a higher standard of officiating in the sport.

It will take place from April 1 to 5 at Tsiesema Multipurpose Hall, Kohima. The course will cover on the latest updates in volleyball rules, regulations and officiating techniques, providing a valuable opportunity for both new and experienced referees to improve their skills and knowledge.

It will include theoretical sessions as well as practical assessments to ensure participants are well-equipped to officiate at various levels of competition.

The KDVA and NVA encourage all volleyball enthusiasts including aspiring referees, coaches and players to prepare for this event.

The course is open to Participants on a first-come- first basis. It is designed to serve both as a certification programme and as a refresher for those who are already officiating, ensuring that the standards of volleyball officiating in Nagaland continue to improve.
