Kohima, April 4 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, B Henok Buchem, NCS has informed all villages/wards under Kohima district that a State Mega Legal Services Programme will be held on April 12 at NBCC Conventional Hall, Kohima from 12:00 Noon to 06:00 PM.
The programme is organised with the aim to spread awareness about welfare legislations and schemes, identifying and connecting people to welfare schemes and to understand the legal needs of the people and address the legal problems of the people by giving appropriate legal advice.
As per the DIPR report, Judges of the Supreme Court of India, Minister of State (Law & Justice) Government of India and Judges of the Gauhati High Court will attend the programme.
Therefore, all Village Councils, Management Committee of Village Development Boards, Women Organisations, Youth Organisations, Ward functionaries in Kohima District have been requested to mobilise attendees from respective village/Wards to attend the State Mega Legal Services Programme.
Dinner shall be provided by the organisers.
