The 2nd edition of International Strongest and Fittest Men was held at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama on December 7. Special guest for the event was Addl. Director (HOD), Director of Tourism, Akhale Vizol and guest of honour was Secretary, Tourism, Mhabemo Yanthan NCS.
The number of participants for strongest and fittest men competition were total of 26 - 7 participants from strongest and 19 participants from the fittest. The participants had to go through different levels, in the strongest category- Squat lift, Farmer’s walk, power stairs, Loading Race, Naga stone, Dead lift. Whereas for the fittest category-Snatch, Clean & Jerk, Burpees, one leg Squat, Dead lift, Push up, Free Squat, Box Jump.
The Strongest man was bagged by Tsuknungakum Jamir, runners up was Sedevizo Keretsu and Fittest man was won by Vizobeilie Punyu, runners up was Kuvemuri Ringa. The winners carried away a cash prize of 50000 each while 2nd place were given a cash prize of 20000 each. (MExN)
