The 1st Summer Basketball Coaching camp under the aegis of Suncity Kohima and PB&F Sports management commenced here today at Christ King Higher Secondary School, Kohima village.
The main trainer of the camp was coach Prasanna Jyashankar of Chennai Slam UBA, former Indian Women Basketball team Captain and presently serving as the coach of the Indian Railways. The camp will be covering all basic fundamentals of basketball and will also be imparting advance training skills for the juniors and senior categories respectively.
Around 63 campers, both boys and girls have registered for the camp which will continue for the next two weeks. Some of the campers from the neighbouring states, Manipur and Assam have also registered for the camp.
