KOHIMA, APRIL 8 (MExN): In light of a public rally organized by the Angami Public Organization (APO), along with all tribal units, to protest the Indo-Myanmar fencing and related issues, Kohima Police has informed that traffic regulations will be enforced at the Old MLA Hostel Junction in Kohima on April 9, starting from 8 AM.
Down-going vehicles (towards High School/Secretariat) will be diverted via TCP Gate – Hospital Junction – Census Point, while up-coming vehicles (towards PHQ) will be diverted via Razhü Point – Naga Bazaar. Staff buses heading to the Secretariat/Directorate will be diverted via TCP Gate – T-Khel Model Road.
Additionally, the road stretch from TCP Gate to Y-Junction Phoolbari will be designated as a No-Parking Zone. These traffic measures will remain in place until the completion of the rally. Kohima Police have urged citizens to plan their routes accordingly.
