Longleng, August 28 (MExN): A three-day Transport Camp Office will be held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Longleng from September 15 to 17, facilitated by officials and staff of the Regional Transport Office (RTO), Mokokchung, according to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Longleng.
The camp is being organised in pursuance of RTO Mokokchung letter No. RTO-25/GIMKG/O3/73-75, dated August 19.
During the camp, services related to issuance of new driving licences and registration of motor vehicles will be provided as per the provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988, and Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989, the notification stated.
The notification stated that the following documents will be required for new driving license: Birth Certificate, Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC), Aadhaar Card and Recent Passport Photograph. For driving license renewal, the applicant must produce: Driving License Smart Card (Original) and Medical Fitness Certificate.
“All general public are informed to avail this special opportunity,” it stated.
