MOKOKCHUNG, November 3 (MExN): The Mokokchung district administration has imposed restrictions on vehicular movement along the Asetkong-Tsusangra road due to repair and restoration works at Longpong Bridge.
As per the State DIPR, the Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung has issued an order stating that heavy vehicles weighing more than 8 metric tonnes will be prohibited from plying along the road with effect from November 4 until December 2. The restriction applies to the stretch at the 27-km chainage, where repair and restoration works are being undertaken.
Light vehicles will also be restricted from plying along the stretch from November 4 to 17. The DC Mokokchung has appealed to the public to cooperate with the administration and comply with the traffic regulations during the repair and restoration period, the report added.
