Qualifies for All India knock out stage
Dimapur, November 19 (MExN): The Nagaland U-16 team defeated Manipur by 9 wickets at the ongoing Vijay Merchant U-16 Trophy at DN Singha Stadium, Goalpara. With this, the team qualified for the All India knock out stage.
Earlier, Manipur were bowled out with 131 runs in the first innings and 73 runs in the second innings. Nagaland team finished its first innings with 178. The team declared win with a wicket in second innings scoring 29 runs.
Nagaland has defeated Arunachal, Mizoram, Sikkim and Manipur and lost to Meghalaya in the league stages.
Meanwhile, Nagaland seniors (Mens) team is playing their third Ranji trophy match from November 20 to 23 against Meghalaya in Shillong.
