Apropos to the advertisement published by your popular daily and other local dailies on 13-08-11, concerning to walk in interview called by higher & technical education department, Nagaland on 23-08-11,through their letter no.HTE/HE-APPTT/3-3/2009 date 12-08-11, I have the following questions to ask to the department concerned.
1. UGC regulations on minimum qualification published through its letter no.F.3-1/2009, 30th. June 2010, clause-3.0.0- Recruitment & Qualifications, says, “NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for requirement and appointment of Asstt. Professors in university/colleges/institutions.” Therefore, what shall happen to them who have cleared SLET/SET? Are they not qualified? If qualified, why it was not depicted in the advertisement? Please see Clause-3.3.1.
2. UGC has relaxed by 5% marks for SC/ST/Differently Abled Persons for recruitment qualifications. Then why this condition was not depicted in the advertisement? See Clause-3.4.1.
3. Surmising, if relaxation of 5% is to be admitted as per UGC regulations, then what shall be happening to those candidates, who have NET or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET) with 50% marks in post graduate studies?
4. Why pay scale and terms of appointments were not depicted in the advertisement?
The department of higher & technical education, Nagaland may please explain & clarify the over mentioned points of queries.
