KOHIMA, MAY 28 (MExN): The Nagaland University Research Scholars' Forum (NURSF), Kohima Campus, has launched a five-day national webinar on Research Methodology from May 27 to 31.
The inaugural session was held on May 27 with Nagaland University Vice-Chancellor Prof J K Patnaik as the Chief Guest and Prof Jano S Liegise as the Special Guest. Both speakers highlighted the significance of research methodology in academic excellence and lauded the NURSF Kohima Campus for promoting a research-oriented culture among scholars.
The session was chaired by Limala Longchar, a research scholar from the Department of English. NURSF President and webinar convenor Sakilur Rahman delivered the welcome address.
The first technical session featured Prof Bibhash Choudhury of Gauhati University, who delivered a lecture on research methodology.
The webinar has registered participation from 150 scholars representing universities across India and international institutions. Resource persons scheduled to speak during the webinar include Prof Ranjit Singh from IIIT Allahabad, and Dr M R N Babu, Dr Dhrubajyoti Bordoloi, and Dr Perumalraja R from Nagaland University, Kohima Campus.
