‘Welcome to Clinic Activity’ Prog held at Veterinary Clinical Complex Jalukie

Jalukie, January 29 (MExN): The Veterinary Clinical Complex (VCC), College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Central Agricultural University, Jalukie, Peren in collaboration with Intas Pharmaceutical Ltd, organized a “Welcome to Clinic Activity” programme for fourth-year BVSc and AH students of the 2022 batch at the VCC campus on January 24.

The programme began with a welcome address by Dr. Gunjan Das, Professor and in-charge Head of the Department of Veterinary Clinical Complex, who also served as the coordinator of the programme. This was followed by a presentation by Dr. Gopal Kumar, Senior Business Manager of Intas Neovet, who apprised the students about the Neovet product range and explained their uses and applications.

Dean of the College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Jalukie, Peren, Nagaland, Dr. I Shakuntala attended the programme as the chief guest. In her address, she urged the students to learn about the basic therapeutic management of diseases in livestock and the use of veterinary-specific medicines manufactured by pharmaceutical companies such as Intas Pharmaceutical Ltd. She also expressed appreciation towards Intas Pharmaceutical Ltd for organizing the programme at the college.

Senior Professors Dr. A. Palanisammi and Dr. S. K. Maiti also addressed the gathering and appreciated Intas Pharmaceutical Ltd for taking the initiative to engage with veterinary students through such a programme.

As part of the event, Intas Neovet handbooks, product literature and gifts were distributed to the students as a compliment from the company. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Tukheswar Chutia, Assistant Professor, VGO, and co-coordinator of the programme.
