Chümoukedima, June 20 (MExN): The Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) and Eastern Nagaland Peoples' Union Dimapur (ENPUD) on Saturday held a coordination meeting at the WSH Hiyam in Chekiye, Chümoukedima, with both apex bodies reaffirming their commitment to strengthen ties and work jointly for peace and welfare.
The meeting, convened to foster brotherhood and consolidate historical relations, deliberated extensively on the long-standing cordial ties and shared socio-cultural history between the two organisations, according to a joint statement issued here.
Recognising their deep-rooted bonds, the house unanimously resolved to uphold and further the spirit of oneness and common interests in all spheres. Both organisations also agreed to collaborate closely on matters concerning the welfare, unity, and peace of their respective communities moving forward.
The joint resolution was signed by Tokaho Suhoi Neho, President of WSH, and NT Thamlong Phom, President of ENPUD.
