DIMAPUR, JUNE 8 (MExN): The Yimkhiung Union Dimapur (YUD) has directed all individuals and families accommodating children from the Yimkhiung community within Dimapur district to register them with the union. In a public notice issued through its Media Cell, the union stated that registration is mandatory irrespective of the reason for the child's stay in the district. According to the notice, the registration process must be completed by a family member, relative, or guardian. The union has set June 30, 2026, as the deadline for registration. For registration, individuals have been asked to contact the YUD Statistical Cell. The union further stated that it would not accept responsibility or provide assistance in the event of any future complications involving children who are not registered with the organisation.
