Kohima, April 12 (MExN): One day training on cutting and tailoring programme with the theme ‘Beautiful things come together one stitch at a time’ was held at Zeme Baptist Church, Midland Kohima on April 12.
The resource persons were Remphano Hemang and Bangdwa Elunglung (Bstudio Boutique). During the workshop, the resource persons shared their knowledge and expertise and hands on cutting, sewing and needle stitching techniques were also experienced by the participants.
The workshop included training on basic apron cutting and stitching, pyjamas set making and stitching and cutting of pillow covers etc
President Women Department ZBCK Angaule Nsarangbe invoked God’s blessing and also highlighted the importance of the workshop. Chiro Liegise gave the closing remark.
The training was organised by Women Department Zeme Baptist Church Kohima where around twenty eight women attended the training. The organisers further hoped to conduct such interesting workshops in coming years and inspire women to upgrade their skills and also to harness their creativity.
