School children join in on the village walk at Zhavame on March 31.
Kohima, March 31 (MExN): A village walk for school children was organized today at Zhavame village under Phek district.
This event aims to educate the children of the village about their roots and also emphasize on the importance of knowing their cultural ethics.
The event was organised by Tourism Board, Zhavame with P. Paul Dukru, former village council chairman and Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) Jury Board member as the resource person.
The activities includes village walk to historical sites, storytelling and quiz competitions.
Sixty nine school children joined the event.
