20th NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy 2019

Tyrants FC, KVSU win

Tyrants FC and Kohima Village Students Union registered won their respective matches of the ongoing NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy organised by Angami Students Union at Kohima Local Ground here today.

In the first match, Tyrants FC defeated High School Taxi Drivers XI by 3-0.

While the first half saw a goalless draw,  Sedevizo (3) break the deadlock  in the 54th minute and  later doubling it in the 73rd minute.

Kethozo (8) scored the third goals Tyrants FC in 77th minute.

Vilekhol of Tyrants FC and Aviu, Diezelhoulie and Adi of HSTDs(XI) were penalised with Yellow-Card for unsporting behaviour.

The evenly poised second match of the day saw Kohima Village Students Union (KVSU) eventually overcoming their opponent Kigwema Students' Union by 2-1.

Both the team was locked in a goalless draw till the first half, however, for Kigwema SU struck first in 51st minute via the boots of Shürhotolie(11).

KVSU’s Ruovizhalie (9) managed to equalise the deficits with the next four minutes while Mezhüsietuo(10) struck the winning goal in 59th minute.
