Dimapur, July 31 (MExN): The ongoing Li-Ning 46th Inter District & State Open Badminton Championship 2024 at the Police Complex in Chumukedima has seen intense competition, with Peren and Mokokchung emerging as champions in the Men’s and Women’s Team Championships, respectively.
In the Men’s Team Championship, Peren claimed the title after a hard-fought final, defeating the runners-up, Dimapur. The Women’s Team Championship witnessed Mokokchung clinching the top spot, with Kohima finishing as the runners-up.
In the Junior Boys category, Mokokchung once again demonstrated their badminton prowess, securing the championship title by overcoming Nuiland in the final match.
Matches in the Open categories are still underway, and the excitement continues as players from across the state vie for top honors in this prestigious tournament.
