67 graduates from CTC

Aolijen, April 16 (MexN) : Altogether 67 students were completed their respective theological courses in Clark Theological College this year.
In honor of the graduates, a grand graduation service was held on Friday at the college multi-purpose court with National Council of Churches of India, general secretary, Rev.Dr.Roger Gaikwad as graduation speaker and MLA & advisor, of Art & Culture, Science & Technology & RNE, Mr.Deo Nokhu as guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Deo Nokhu congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to keep themselves prepared to overcome difficult situation in course of working for the Lord. He also cautioned the graduates not to be choosy about the places but to serve anywhere according to the God’s direction.
The graduation speaker, Rev.Dr.Roger Gaikwad also congratulated the graduates and urged them to use their theological knowledge and information to transform the ones own character to Godliness in order to confront the worldly characters of this post modern world.  
“In this post modern world, abnormalities of human character and activities become normal, where homosexuality is considered normal, child born out of illicit relationship considered as love and normal and no  one feel guilty of looting the society, think about it ? ” the speaker cautioned .
Rev.Dr.Roger reminded the theologians to give serious thought on things that are pure, lovely, virtue and praiseworthy as mentioned in Philippians 4:8.
The diplomas were conferred to the graduates by the CTC board of governors, chairman, Rev.Dr.Anjo Keikung and consecration prayer was pronounced by Rev.Dr.Mar Atsongchanger, Executive Secretary, ABAM.
Earlier, the CTC principal Rev.Dr.Takatemjen extended warm welcome to the guests, students, parents and well wishers present in the service and Merensola Imchen, lecturer read the scriptures and said the invocation. The service was conducted byToshi Aier, senior lecturer . The CTC Choir as well as the graduating class presented songs of commitment and Asangla Pongen spoke on behalf of the graduates.
Amongst the graduates, 62 students were conferred B.D degree, 2 were conferred MA in Pastoral Ministry and 3 were conferred Master of Theology.
A good number of awards and certificates were also presented to the outstanding graduating students in the various academic and other fields.
