DIMAPUR, MAY 26 (MExN): Discovering the movement of contraband items, troops of 31 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) launched operation in general area Khudengthabi and apprehended an individual alongwith banned wild life products and drugs from a Bolero Jeep Bearing registration No MN-01W-3299 on 24 May 2011. This was informed in a press note from PRO IGAR South. The apprehendee was identified as Mr Thangboi, Driver, 41 yrs,s/o Sheikhomong r/o New Lambuland ,Imphal East. 253 kgs of Pangolin shells and 50 kgs of Loract –D tablet were recovered from the apprehendee.
