CNC calls for ‘a prayer of agreement’

Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): The Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) has called for ‘a prayer of agreement’ on October 4, 2020 at 9:00 am in all the Naga areas and abroad in one accord at the same time “for the solution of Indo-Naga political issue at the earliest.”

The CNC in a press release issued by its General Secretary, Ikato Chishi Swu has urged upon all the regions, brigades, battalions, units and churches under CNC and all the denominational churches, prayer groups and warriors and all the responsible Christians in Nagalim and abroad to observe a day of fasting and prayer on October 4, “So that, God will grant the Nagas their political solution and enable them live for His purpose and Glory.”

“Prayerfully, as the Nagas anticipate and await the positive outcome of the protracted Indo-Naga political issue, which should be honourable and acceptable to both sides based on Framework Agreement at the earliest,” the CNC believes that, “it is the bounden duty of every responsible Naga Christian to continue to pray till the ultimate goal is achieved.” 

“If the Church and God’s people unite their hearts and minds and together pray ‘a prayer of agreement’  in one accord,  then all the barriers and chains binding the Nagas in the Spiritual, physical and political realms can be  removed and be broken,” it asserted.
