Kohima, April 27(MExN): Parliamentary secretary for industries & commerce Dr. K C Nihoshe asserted that the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) government is all out to support the youngsters of our Naga people so that the younger generation should not think that the government job is the only way for sustenance.
In this, he urged upon the youth to see the avenues where the state government is trying to support and that they should wake up and try to achieve their ways.
Dr. Nihoshe said this while addressing the 2nd Hezukhu Memorial Football Trophy organized by the Zunheboto District Football Association at the Zunheboto Local Ground on April 26.
“If you are really interested in football or any other games, there should be consistency which is the duty of upcoming players and also elders should encourage them in a well planned manner by organizing tournament at the right time,” he said.
He also stressed urged the need for the players to be well groomed and said that they should have regular practices to improve their stamina and thanks the organizer for organizing the district level tournament. He also assured that the Nagaland government is also in pursuit to encourage not only sportsmen but also self employment generation profession.
Claiming that under Rio leadership so many developmental activities have been undertaken including training for upcoming entrepreneurs, he said that at the present scenario, everybody feels that govt job is the priority to acquire and sustain their family but, in order to raise our economic status in the community, one has to work hard with patience and consistency to pursue the desire of an individual to start the enterprises so that the Community and individual uplift the economy status.
To achieve this, on the occasion, he also revealed that 15 persons were selected for business training and their placements are now in metropolitan cities. In this regards, he urged the people of the state to cooperate with the state government for the benefit of all. We are progressing and don’t be dishearten with the negativity as there will be always criticism, he added.
Earlier, GBs from the 13 colonies of Zunheboto met Dr. Nihoshe in his private residence and apprised him on the all round development activities in Zunheboto district Headquarter and also appreciated the overall developmental activities of DAN government under the leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio.
Dr Nihoshe in turn noted down their suggestion for further development in their respective colonies.
The Zunheboto GB president expressed his full satisfaction over the developmental activities and lauded the dynamic leadership of Neiphiu Rio and Dr KC Nihoshe and assured full cooperation in all round developmental activities.
