Haisui Meru was crowned Mr Dimapur 2026 at the grand finale of the prestigious pageant held at Town Hall, Dimapur on August 3.
Dimapur, August 6 (MExN): Haisui Meru was crowned Mr Dimapur 2026 at the grand finale of the prestigious pageant held at Town Hall, Dimapur on August 3. The event, which celebrated confidence, leadership, personality, and talent among young men from across Nagaland, saw Heniomtan Phom being declared the 1st Runner-up, while Mohit Sarki secured the title of 2nd Runner-up.
The competition also recognised exceptional contestants through various subtitle awards. Hito K Aye was honoured with the Mr Perfect 10 title, while Nito Achumi won Mr Popularity. Kúmtsümong Lims was named Mr Multimedia, Imtijong Jamir bagged the Mr Talent award, and Jubika Assumi was adjudged Mr Fashion Icon.
The evening was graced by Bitu Das, CEO and Director of Enosis Holistic Healthcare, Guwahati, as the special guest. The event was elegantly hosted by Ilo Zhimomi, Miss Chümoukedima 2024 1st Runner-up. The judging panel comprised an esteemed lineup of personalities, including Bikee Dutta (Mr Dimapur 2023), Thushi Yim (Mr Dimapur 2023 1st Runner-up), Councillor Alemla Tovi of East Dimapur Town Council, Dr Nungtilong Longkumer, and M Lemwang, Assistant Professor at Salt Christian College of Teacher Education.
The contestants were groomed and choreographed by Joel Anthony, Mr Dimapur 2024 and Mr India Universe 4th Runner-up, with Senti serving as the Assistant Choreographer. Bashing Nyam and Jojo Jingz managed the contestants throughout the competition, their dedication playing a vital role in the successful execution of the event. The evening was further enlivened by captivating performances from African Amakshiu, Chümoukedima Dance & Fit Studio, Liban Ovung, Mhabeni Shitri, Aseno Metha, and Khumti Mongzar.
