DIMAPUR, JUNE 5 (MExN): The Lt Dr K Kath Legacy Turf, constructed under the Iconic Project of LADP 2025–2026 for the 12 Tseminyu Assembly Constituency, was inaugurated at New Tesophenyu Village on June 4.
MLA and Chairman of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Tseminyu, Jwenga Seb, formally inaugurated the turf, which has been named in honour of former minister Lt Dr K Kath.
The programme was chaired by Dr Shasinlo Maghasha, Vice President of the Janata Dal (United) Nagaland, who also delivered the welcome address. A special number was presented by Cicilia Seb.
Short speeches were delivered by Ahino Tep, President of the Tesiphenyu Group Gaon Burah Union (TGBU); Agwalo Mesung, Head GB of Tesophenyu Village; Ashento Magh, President of the Tesophenyu Group Public Union (TGPU); and A Levi Magh, President of the Tesophenyu Group Youth Organisation (TGYO).
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shentheyi Kath, former Village Chairman of Tesophenyu New Village.
