
MR/BA general meet on May 25
Kohima, May 10 (MExN): The Meter Reader and Bill Assistant Association (MR/BA) will hold its general meeting on 25 May at 10.30 am in the JBKK Hall, PWD Junction Kohima. A press release issued by Dzieseneilie Sachü, President MR/BA has informed all the zonal presidents to attend the meeting accompanied by at least five members from their respective units and are also requested to keep note of suggested names for the next tenure of office bearers.
'V Nagi has no legal rights'
Dimapur, May 10 (MExN): The NNC has stated that V Nagi has no legal rights to allege or charge any national worker since he was expelled for committing and misusing of “the Supreme N.N.C Yehzabo on March 29”. However, V.Nagi has levied allegations upon the NNC members under the pretext of this and that. The NNC in a press note issued by MIP, NNC stated: "It is to say that V.Nagi, timely using a dangerous languages upon the NNC all the more. Is he so inviting another bloodshed type in the Naga Homeland? If you are thinking so, the NNC is always welcome of your approach if so desired. So, if anything happened upon Dr:- Senka, the president and the Vice President Mr:- Kiumukam and its members of N.N.C the National workers will see what kind of step will take, only then the alleged V.Nagi will bear full responsible in consequences. (sic)."
Seithekema reaffirms wildlife ban
Dimapur, May 10 (MExN): The Seithekema Old Village Council held its general meeting on March12 at its council hall and re-affirmed its earlier order of banned on hunting and fishing which is strictly prohibited. The village head GB Neikepeu in a press release sated that any person found committing an offence within the village jurisdiction shall be imposed heavy fine and the hunting materials shall be seized at any cost.
