Dimapur, August 24 (MExN): A National Conference on Natural Farming, themed “Pathways to Self-Reliant Farming and Rural Prosperity”, will be held from September 9 to 11 at the College of Post Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences (CPGSAS), Umiam, Ri-Bhoi district, Meghalaya.
The conference will be guided by the vision “One Farm, One Ecosystem, One Health” and bring together researchers, academicians, policymakers, practitioners, students, farmers and entrepreneurs.
The event will focus on knowledge sharing, agricultural innovation, networking, sustainability, climate resilience and rural prosperity, organisers said.
It aims to promote environmentally responsible, locally adaptable and economically viable farming systems and facilitate discussions on pathways towards self-reliant agriculture and sustainable rural development.
