Jami sensitised parents to the growing threat of drug abuse among young people and urged them to remain vigilant, maintain open communication with their children, monitor their activities and friendships, and work closely with the school to safeguard them from substance abuse.

School Principal Reji Kuriakose, speaking on "Parents as Partners in Education", said parents and teachers are "the two wings of a child", stressing that just as a bird requires both wings to fly, children need the united support of both home and school to achieve their aspirations.

He said the holistic development of every child is possible only when parents and teachers function together as "One Team, One Mission".

During the meeting, parents were briefed on various school initiatives, including UDISE+, APAAR, scholarship schemes, the Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme, the School360 mobile application, student discipline, assessment policies and ways to support children effectively at home.

An interactive open forum was also held, during which parents shared suggestions and concerns. Iviholi Kiho was unanimously selected as the new parents' representative. The school thanked parents for their participation and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the home-school partnership for the holistic growth and success of every child.
