PCCI condemns

Phek | May 14 : Phek Town Chamber of Commerce & Industries (PCCI) has flayed the recent abduction and killing of Md. Israr, a businessman from Dimapur by a group of people led by 'NSCN (I-M) cadres'.
Talking to The Morung Express, the PCCI president Murahveyi Khesoh and general secretary Khoseta Rhakho while mourning the unexpected demise of Md. Israr further made an earnest appeal to the district administration and NSCN (I-M) government to award the befitting punishment to the persons involved in the crime without any further delay.
“To be honest we were paying the timely taxes without any complaints where we always expect good hospitality from them besides getting protection in times of needing a sheltering”, the two leaders, revealed.  The PCCI asserted that the functionary were opting the character of a snake where it kills its master after saving its lives from the death and added that this kind of treatment was beyond human toleration.
Appreciating the police personnel from Kohima and Dimapur for arresting the culprits, the two leaders urged the authority to deliver justice as per the law of the land.  The PCCI further stated that such act performed by the freedom fighters shall in no way bring solution for the Naga sovereignty rather this kind of act is a hindrance to the peace process and further added that a person with such moral has no place in the present civilized society.
