
Kohima, March 30, (MExN): Southern Angami Youth Organization (SAYO) served ultimatum of seven days w.e.f from 29 March to Mao Council to produce the violators physically for negotiation where in the case of non-compliance to the request appealed for, SAYO shall not hesitate impose its own course of action thereafter, said the ultimatum note issued by President SAYO, Seyievilie Peter.
A statement received here this afternoon said it has agreed upon on March 19th by the Mao Council and the Angami Public organization representing Pfonimei Association and southern Angami public Organization respectively, that neither party should carry out any development activities such as logging, firewood until the final verdict T.P.O had assured within four months time, however, Pfonimei Association had proven failure on their part in upholding what has been mutually agreed upon in the presence of esteemed council through press releases, said the press note.
It mentioned more that SAYO felt that Mao Council being the signatory representing Pfonimei Association the concerned issue (Kezol dispute as has been claimed by the latter) is thereupon obligatory to identify the defaulters whoever so involved.
