
People pay their homage to St. John Boscos Relic in a casket on Friday at Don Bosco School Sechü Zubza
Kohima, May 6 (MExN): The St. John Boscos relic in a casket today reached Don Bosco School Sechü Zubza .Earlier the St. John Boscos relic in a casket traveled from Christ King Church Kohima Village and passed across the main town to reach Don Bosco School Sechü Zubza. This was informed in a press note issued by Media cell, Angami Catholic Union, for global tour of St John Boscos relic in Kohima.
The Saints relic is here in the state as part of the global tour covering 130 countries to commemorate the Bi-centenary of the birth of St John Bosco founder of the institutes of the Salesians fathers and Sisters, which will be celebrated in 2015.
Students in traditional attires and school uniform from the Don Bosco School Sechiü Zubza shouted slogan “Long Live Don Bosco” and “We love you Don Bosco” as it arrived at the school premises. A host of Salesian Priests, students, parents, alumnus & well wishers enthusiastically received the relic where a reception programme was held and Salesian priests highlighted the significance of the relic and also dwelt on the life and contributions made by St John Bosco. Later a holy mass took place in the church followed by veneration of the Relics and paying of homage. St. John Boscos relic would halt at Savio Home, Zubza for the night. On May 7 at 5.30 am it would depart for Zubza to Wokha.
