Kohima, May 4 (DIPR): The cyclonic storm that lashed the State capital yesterday, May 3, damaged 66 houses at Khonoma village including a guesthouse belonging to the Christian Revival Church. According to the district administration, hectares of forests were also completely destroyed.
Although no casualties have been informed, the strong rain and wind also destroyed a number of granaries, sheds and animal shelters. The power line to the village was completely snapped.
