
Dimapur, May 28 (MExN): The Tenyimi Peoples’ Organization (TPO) has stated that it is proud to hear that one of its prominent leader, Dr.Shurhozelie Liezietsu has been conferred the “Life Time Achievement Award” by the International Association of Educators for World Peace jointly instituted by the Global Open University, Nagaland and Confederation of Indian University recently.
“No doubt, Dr.Shurhozelie Liezietsu is not only a prominent politician today but an academician by profession who had contributed so much towards the development of literature particularly in the field of Tenyidie. His work and contribution towards the Tenyidie literature has been seen through so many books and literature he had authored so far. His dedication and hard work has made possible the Tenyidie literature what it is today,” stated the TPO in a press note issued by its president ZM Sekhose.
It also stated that by being awarded the prestigious “Life Time Achievement Award”, Dr Shurhoelie has not only earned another feather to his cap but also brought laurel to the Nagas in general and the Tenyimi in particular. “While congratulating Dr.Shurhozelie for his achievements, the Tenyimi Peoples’ Organization also wishes him all the best in his future endeavor.”
