
DIMAPUR, MARCH 29 (MExN): Akhil Bharatiya Adivasi Mahasabha (All India Indigenous Peoples’ Grand Assembly) is being held at was held Delhi’s Talkatora Indoor Stadium from March 28-30. The inaugural function was graced by Shiela Dikshit, chief minister, Delhi as chief guest.
A press note received here stated that a cultural troupe of VK Area Youth Organisation Dimapur (VKAYOD) who are also participating in the assembly presented a Sumi Naga folk dance at the inaugural event.
The assembly is organised by the Indian Confederation of Indigenous and Tribal Peoples (ICITP) in collaboration with Delhi University, Adivasi Ekta Parishad, All India Tribal Literary Forum (Ramnika Foundation), Institute of Social Sciences, CNI-SBSS, Adim Jati Sevak Sangh, Adim Janjati Adhikar Manch and Indian Social Institute.
