Sao Chang College, Tuensang hosted a felicitation programme at the college conference hall on May 3.
Tuensang, May 3 (MExN): Sao Chang College (SSC), Tuensang hosted a felicitation programme to celebrate the success of Chubalemba B Chang who cleared the UPSC examination 2023 with rank 915, stated the Media cell of SSC, Tuensang.
Addressing the gathering at the college conference hall on Friday, Chubalemba B Chang shared his journey of preparing for the UPSC examination. He emphasised the importance of perseverance, resilience, and a strong support system in achieving such a milestone.
He expressed gratitude to Sao Chang family for providing a strong educational foundation and fostering environment conducive to growth and learning.
It was followed by a Q&A session, during which students engaged with Chang, asking questions about his experiences and seeking advice on exam preparation. Chang provided thoughtful responses, offering encouragement and guidance to aspiring students.
Earlier, the programme commenced with welcome note from SSC Vice Principal, Longtichang Tzudir. Tongpangkokla Chang, Assistant professor & Head Department of Botany highlighted that Chubalemba B Chang enrolled in the College in 2012 and graduated (Science) in 2015. During this tenure at the institution, he was involved actively in many co-curricular activities. He also served as a General Secretary of the Sao Chang College Students’ Union 2013-2014.
The programme was chaired by Dr T Lal Veda Chandra Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Economics while vote of thanks was proposed by K Vidila Jing, Assistant Professor & Head Department of Zoology.
