Guwahati, November 3 (MExN): The Zonal Office of UCO Bank here observed Vigilance Awareness Week from October 27 to November 2, aligning with this year's national theme, 'Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility'.
The observance, which coincides with the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, aims to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability to build a corruption-free society.
A bank official said various activities were organized across branches to engage both employees and the public. Painting competitions were held at East Jaloni Primary School in Duliajan, Trinity High School in Kohima, and Carmel School in Digboi.
Additionally, all staff members of the Zonal Office in Jorhat took the Integrity Pledge on October 28.
The week concluded with a walkathon in Jorhat city on November 2 to raise awareness among citizens. The event was attended by Zonal Head Narendra Pratap Singh, Deputy Zonal Head Hasan Ejaz Hashmi, along with other senior officials and staff members.
