UCRC observes Christmas devotional service

Father Department presents special number

Kohima, December 28 (MExN): The Union Christian Revival Church, New Market Road, Kohima, observed a Christmas Devotional Service on December 25 under the theme “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14).

The service featured a Christmas message delivered by Rev Dr Luozilie Sanchu, who reflected on the spiritual significance of Christmas, emphasising peace, goodwill, and the importance of glorifying God through righteous living.

Preaching on the theme, Rev Dr Sanchu highlighted that the birth of Jesus Christ symbolises hope and redemption for humanity. He stated that Christ’s coming brought peace to the world and underscored the Christian belief in salvation, healing, and grace. He also called upon believers to uphold unity and harmony within the Christian community.

Adding to the festive spirit, a special song was presented by the Children’s Ministry and the Father Department of the church, which was warmly appreciated by the congregation.

The Christmas devotional service was chaired by Razouvohü Chüzho and concluded with prayers, thanksgiving, and fellowship. The Christmas feast was hosted by the Father Department of the church.
