Chandigarh beat Nagaland by 118 runs
DIMAPUR, MARCH 11 (MExN): Chandigarh defeated Nagaland by 118 runs in the Women’s Senior One Day Trophy at Puducherry.
Choosing to bat first, Chandigarh put up a total of 210 runs losing 5 wickets in 50 overs. Amanjot Kaur was their highest scorer with 73 runs followed by Monica Pandey with 67 runs.
For Nagaland, Sariba took 2 wickets while Trisha, Pankul and Ayantika bagged 1 wicket each.
In the second innings, Nagaland were bowled out for a mere 92 runs in 35.4 overs. Madhumonti was Nagaland’s top scorer with 44 runs.
Amanjot Kaur and Parul Saini took 3 wickets each while Nandani Sharma bagged 2 wickets for Chandigarh.
