The 5th Nagaland Futsal Club Championship 2026 under the aegis of Nagaland Football Association (NFA) and Football Association Tseminyu District as host will start from June 18 at Riga’s Astro Turf, New Terogvunyu near Tseminyu.
Altogether, 10 teams (RM Boys (Dimapur), Vanguard FC (Tseminyu), Aphuyemi FC (Zunheboto, Vanguard Academy (Tseminyu), TRS FC (Tuensang), Ipuing FC (Peren) SC Nagaland (Mon), Legacy FC (Wokha), Aspirants FC (Kohima) and Chumokedima Town Youth Club (Chumoukedima) will vie for this tournamnet.
Abu Metha, Advisor to Chief Minister of Nagaland and chairman Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland will grace the opening ceremony as the special guest on June 18 at 3:00 PM.
Greetings will be shared by MLA Jwenga Seb and NFA president K. Neibou Sekhose.
RM Boys will face Vanguard FC in the inaugural match.
The tournament will continue till June 20
The champion will fetch a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh while Runner-up will get Rs. 50,000.
