CHOZUBA, MARCH 30 (MExN): The All Nagaland Private Schools Association (ANPSA), Phek Unit, held its Annual General Body Meeting (AGBM) on March 28 at Sülüho and Lhüprüve Memorial Hall, Chozuba. The meeting, attended by 31 members from various private schools, focused on reviewing achievements, addressing key issues, and electing new office bearers for the 2025–2027 tenure.

The session began at 11 a.m., chaired by outgoing president Vikholie Venuh, who highlighted the association’s accomplishments over the past two years. The gathering was opened with a prayer by Father Charles Phom, headmaster of St. Andrew School, Thenyizu, followed by a welcome address from Khenenle Semy, headmistress of Eastern Christian School, Chozuba. Discussions covered various agenda points, including the secretary’s report presented by General Secretary Savino Kezho Zhimo and the financial report by Treasurer Atshole Wetsah. Members engaged in an interactive session where they raised concerns and shared suggestions on class size restrictions, Saturday holidays, outreach to unregistered schools, and future programs.

ANPSA Phek Unit Advisor Thujongoyi Dazo announced the new office bearers for the 2025–2027 tenure. The leadership team will be headed by Thepuhu Thira as president, with Thujongoyi Dazo, Khruzotalu Pukhalu Swu, and Sabu Koza serving as vice presidents. Khenenle Semy will take over as general secretary, assisted by Kudezo Vero as assistant general secretary, while Vekholu Chuzho will serve as treasurer. The advisory panel includes Fr. Charles Phom, Savino Kezho Zhimo, Fr. Cyprian Lobo, Ado Sakhrie, and Vikholie Venuh.

The installation of the new office bearers was conducted by Rev. Vesavo Shijoj, chairman of CABCC, who extended blessings to the new leaders and the community they serve. The event concluded with a closing prayer by Vekholu Swuro, followed by a lunch hosted by Eastern Christian School, Chozuba.
