Chümoukedima, June 13 (MExN): ‘OBA’, a personal song by singer-songwriter Imna Yaden, was released on June 12, during an official music video screening. The release was done by Rev A Temsu Lkr, Pastor of PBC Chümoukedima.

The song, which Yaden describes as a heartfelt conversation between a son and his late father, explores themes of love, loss, memory, and unspoken emotions. ‘OBA’ blends poignant lyrics with a restrained melody, capturing the silence left behind by a departed loved one.

Speaking about the track, Yaden said, “‘OBA’ is more than just a song to me; it is a conversation with my late father, filled with love, loss, memories, and emotions I could never put into words before. Every lyric carries a piece of my heart, and every melody echoes the silence he left behind.”

Dedicating the song to those who have experienced similar grief, Yaden added, “This song is dedicated to everyone who has ever lost someone they deeply loved. May ‘OBA’ remind you that even though they may no longer walk beside us, their love continues to guide us from up above.”

The song was written and composed by Imna Yaden, with project direction by Imtikumzuk Jamir. Music production was handled at AudioCraft Studio, while mixing and mastering were done by Wangching Konyak. The cinematography was executed by Visual Note Entertainment, with assistant videography by Among LCR. Yangertoshi Lkr provided guidance and encouragement in shaping the song.
