Sovima, September 27 (MExN): The 7th Annual General Meeting of the Nagaland Cricket Association was held at the Conference Room, Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA), Sovima on September 26.
The meeting was chaired by Watinuksung Jamir, President, NCA who welcomed all the delegates and expressed his appreciation for their presence.
Imlikumzuk, President, Mokokchung District Cricket Association, pronounced the Invocation.
The Secretary’s Report and Treasurer’s Report for the Financial Year 2025–26 were presented before the House and duly adopted. The motions received from the District Cricket Associations were tabled before the House for consideration.
Various matters concerning the development of cricket in the districts were discussed, with emphasis on strengthening district-level cricket activities and promoting the overall growth of the sport across the State.
A special felicitation was accorded to Watinuksung Jamir, President, NCA in recognition of his appointment as Team Manager of the Indian Cricket Team for the India Tour of Sri Lanka Test Series 2026.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Khamongo Humtsoe, Vice President, NCA and the meeting concluded with benediction by Vezokho Chotso, Councillor, Apex Council.
