The Zunheboto Range Students’ Union (ZRSU) organised its 1st Penalty Shootout Tournament at the District Sports Council Complex Zunheboto on September 26, with a total of 32 teams participating in the competition. King Hornet A emerged as the champion, while Panenka Crisis finished as the runner-up. In the individual awards, Vinoka K Zhimo was adjudged the Best Goalkeeper, while Inakato Yeptho recorded the highest score of the tournament.
Alemwapang, President of Nagaland Boxing Association, has been appointed as an Official Observer for the ongoing Asian Games in Japan. In a post shared on X, Abu Metha, Abu Metha Adviser to the Chief Minister, Government of Nagaland said, “A well-deserved opportunity that speaks volumes of his years of dedicated service to the sport. Grateful to the International and National Federations for choosing him for this prestigious responsibility.”

The rally is being held at Himalayan Valley, Leh Ladakh, known as one of the top 10 world toughest motorsports (motorable) event at 17000 ft above sea level. Dinky Varghese from Tamil Nadu will be the navigator for Kevin Puro while Vignesh, also from Tamil Nadu will be the navigator for Along. The Rally will continue till September 30.
