Thuda FC, Comets FC and Matikhrü FC registered wins in their respective match on the fifth day of the ongoing 12th edition of the Pochury Black Day Memorial Cup 2026, organised by Pochury Students’ Union at Meluri Local Ground.
In the opening match, Thuda FC blanked Reguri Youth SC 7-0.
Akoru contributed four goals for Thuda FC in the 28th, 29th, 48th and 62nd minute while Terhüchu netted two goals in the 37th and 52nd minute. Yitachu added another goal for the team in the 42nd minute.
The second match saw Comet FC down Anyuwi FC 3-1.
Hitai opened the account for Comet FC in the 36th minute while Kayipu Yitsithu and Nihielo added a goal each in the 45th and 69th minute respectively.
Chiwatho netted a solitary goal for Anyuwi FC in the 21st minute.
In the third match of the day, Matikhrü FC defeated Shilloi FC 2-1.
The winning goals for Matikhrii FC came through Jilo and Tsiatho in the 28th and 60th minute respectively.
Alüsha netted a lone goal for Shilloi FC in the early 5th minute.
Meanwhile, the match between Molen United FC and Immortals FC ended 3-3 draw.
Lütatu connected the first goal of Molen United FC 20th minute while Ahuchu added two more goals for the team in the 38th and 60th minute.
Toka fetched two goals for Immortals FC while Yishechu added another goal.
The tournament will conclude on September 24.
