Gethemgo Sports International, in partnership with TotalFit Inc., USA, conducted a three-day TotalFit Level 1 Training at Physiofit Gym in Kohima from September 17 to 19, with Physiofit Gym as the official training partner.

The training brought together 15 fitness enthusiasts and potential coaches and introduced participants to the TotalFit approach, which integrates body, mind and spirit while promoting a holistic understanding of health and fitness.

The organisers said fitness has become one of the most sought-after areas of life, with people across age groups seeking ways to lead healthier and stronger lives.

The training explored how fitness can extend beyond exercise to become a platform for strengthening individuals, building relationships and creating a positive impact in communities.

“Fitness is more than developing a strong body. Today, it has become one of the most sought-after areas of life. We want to see fitness become a platform through which lives are strengthened and transformed — not only physically, but mentally and spiritually as well,” said Dr Viposa Kiso, Director of Gethemgo Sports International.

The Level 1 training included practical sessions on coaching, functional movement, programming, recovery and holistic fitness development.

The initiative is aimed at developing trained TotalFit coaches who can take the approach to gyms, fitness groups and communities across Nagaland and beyond, Kiso said.

TotalFit Inc., USA, focuses on promoting optimal health through the integration of body, mind and spirit.

Gethemgo Sports International is partnering with TotalFit to develop the approach in the region, with Physiofit Gym serving as the official training partner.
