ANCSU dismayed over neglect in providing buses to colleges

KOHIMA, JUNE 7 (MExN): The All Nagaland College Students' Union (ANCSU) has expressed dismay over the negligence of the Department of Higher & Technical Education and the state government in providing buses to Dimapur Government College and Sao Chang College. 

In a memorandum addressed to the Commissioner & Secretary, Higher & Technical Education, ANCSU on Friday said students were facing untold hardship due to the failure of the concerned department to address this matter with urgency and on priority.  Resolving this issue promptly without delay or it may invite retaliation and confrontation from the college students, the students’ body cautioned. 

“Further, we place our confidence that the state government and department concerned would pay ears to the genuine demand of the students’ community and will not go against its commitment for the educational welfare of the students across Nagaland,” it stated.
